Vale Joan Lane
It is with great sadness that I write to inform the Rovers family that Joan Lane has recently passed away. I’m sure you will all join me in sharing condolences with our Club President, John, on the loss of his wife.
Joan has been a part of Loftus Yarrawarrah Rovers FC for a long time with children and grandchildren playing there and continued to be a regular visitor to Loftus Oval, a keen supporter of the club and, most importantly, a wonderful wife to John supporting and allowing him to be such a big part of our club.
Anyone who has had the pleasure of her company will know what a fun personality she had and I know that she will be greatly missed.
John has asked me to let you know that the funeral is on Wednesday 22nd October, 11am at Woronora South Chapel, and all are welcome to attend.
There will also be a gathering at Club on East after the funeral for those wishing to celebrate Joan’s life.
