Weekdays

The Sutherland Shire Council decides ground status from Monday to Friday.

You can check on the status of all SSFA grounds during the week by:

Phoning the Sutherland Shire Councils Wet Weather Line on 02 9710 0105, or checking the Sutherland Shire Council Wet Weather Alerts page on their website.

Weekends

For weekends the SSFA controls the ground status and this is done by all clubs undertaking inspections if directed by the SSFA to determine whether playing surfaces are playable or not.

Because of the high usage of fields the decision as to whether a round proceeds or is abandoned will depend upon the number of grounds determined as being unplayable.

The SSFA will then advise all clubs of their decision and this will then be passed on to managers of each team.

Until you hear that games have been cancelled assume that they are on.
