Registrations for Season 2021

Please read this information carefully and retain for your records to ensure correct fees and registration requirements are presented when you register.

All Registrations are completed online at the Play Football website www.playfootball.com.au.

FOR THE 2021 SEASON REGISTRATIONS OPEN FRIDAY 8th JANUARY.
Online payments are accepted anytime from Friday 8th January.
Manual payment options are accepted up until our Registration Day Sunday 31st January. From Monday 1st February registrations must be paid online.
The club Registration Days are generally for those requiring assistance to register, make manual payments and sight documents.

Uniforms

Uniform sizes will be available to try on at our Registration Assistance Days. All orders to be placed online.

Registration Days

Registration Days for 2021 will be held at the Loftus Community Hall, Loftus Avenue on the following days:

Thu 28th January 6.00pm – 8.00pm

Sun 31st January 9.00am to 11.00am

All players who wish to play with Loftus Yarrawarrah Rovers FC in 2021 must be registered in the online system. All registration fees must be paid before registrations are completed.  New players of all ages are very welcome.
Please note – until all fees are paid, players are not covered by the insurance cover provided when grading and training – all youth players 5-16 years must register before grading commences on 1st February.

New Registrations

New players who have never registered with SSFA previously are to supply both;
– proof of age, includes original birth certificate, Driver License or passport; and
– proof of residency, includes unaltered Driver License, a recent document from a Government Department or Financial Institution. Junior players residing outside the local area, but attending a local school, need to provide a letter from the school confirming attendance in 2021 or School Id.
COPIES ARE NOT ACCEPTED – originals must be sighted by either the Club President, Secretary or Registrar and will be returned.
To be eligible to play in the Under 6’s players must have been born in 2015 or 2016. All new players are required to bring the documents with them on the registration days provided. New registrations are still required to register online on or prior to registration days.

Photographs

Photographs are required for all NEW players and all players in U10/W10 age group.

In order to be issued an ID card and be eligible to play Round 1you MUST have an acceptable photo. The photo MUST be of passport style (and size). You will be able to upload a new photo yourself or attend one of the registration days and we can organise a photo to be taken.

On-line Registration system

It is compulsory for every member of the Sutherland Shire Football Association to be registered through the online system – PlayFootball.com.au

For Season 2021 you will again be able to pay online, however offline payments will be accepted at either of our Registration Days at Loftus Community Hall by either Card/Cheque or Cash. However, you will need to have registered prior to Sunday 31st January 2021. Payments will need to be completed online for any registrations completed after Sunday 31st January

When registering through the system, you will also be required to accept the terms and conditions, please read these (they are published on the website) and acknowledge acceptance as required. There are also some additional questions, please answer these as appropriate.

Financial Hardship – We appreciate that there may be individuals or families that are experiencing hard times due to lost income due to the pandemic. The Rovers Committee would not want people to drop out of sport because they are in such a predicament. If you are indeed experiencing such a hardship, we request you to communicate directly with the President, Secretary or Registrar for their consideration of hardship assistance to allow you to play sport. Such a call to either of these people will be kept strictly confidential. No one outside this circle will know of any arrangements that we may make.

Dependent Family Discount – All families (defined as ‘one or two parents/legal guardians and their dependent children’) with three or more players registering to play with Rovers may receive a $30 Family Discount per player if all the players register by the 14th February 2021.  Dependent children must be born in 2000 or later.  In those cases which do not fit these general criteria the Rovers Committee will consider approving the Family Discount on a case-by-case basis. 

Note that if you are using your Active Kids Voucher to Register a 5-7 year-old you cannot apply a discount to this family member however, they may be counted as part of a family to allow the other family members to claim their Family Discount.

Note that players claiming a ‘Life Member Discount’ may not claim the Family Discount for themselves.  However, they may be counted as part of a family to allow the other family members to claim their Family Discount.  For example, if a life member’s two children also play for the Rovers, he/she can claim a ‘Life Member Discount’ and $60 Family Discount.

Please send your application for the Family Discount (or any other enquiries) by email to the Rovers Registrar Kara Dent:  registrar@roversfc.com.au    BEFORE you commence Registering any family members.  The email MUST include the full names (including surnames and Age Group) of the family members playing for the Rovers in 2021.  

Late Registration – Registrations for Senior players received after 14th February will incur a late registration fee of $20.00, this is an administration fee imposed by the club in order to meet association deadlines. A further late fee of $30 will apply from 28 February this is imposed by the association and applies to competition teams U12 and up. There are no late registration fees for U6 to U11’s.

Grading

Grading of all junior players within the Club will commence from Monday 1st February. Detailed grading days and times for each age group can be found on the website.   ALL grading queries are to be directed to Rob Munro, Technicaldirector@roversfc.com.au

Round 1 of the 2021 competition will be after Easter on the weekend of 10th /11th April.

Team Coaches & Managers

We look forward to welcoming our returning Coaches and Managers in 2021.  If you are interested in volunteering as a coach or manager please let a committee member know at Registration Days, Grading Days or give one of us a call – All participation is welcome

Committee Positions

There are currently vacancies on the general committee – if you are interested in being involved with the club in this way feel free to talk to existing members at registration or any other time that suits you. We would really appreciate some help in 2021. All participation is welcome.
